Our Sound Testing Laboratory was constructed with the advice of the Acoustics Group of a leading British University. Initially introduced to assist with our own quality control programme and a vital part of our product development, this facility can be made available for acoustic prototype testing, pre-production testing or performance testing of your products or components. Our laboratory is ideally suited to obtaining indicative performance prior to undertaking an independent test in a UKAS accredited laboratory. Our horizontal sound testing laboratory is available for low cost daily or weekly hire.

  • Capable of testing airborne sound transmission up to Rw 61dB.

  • Sound testing for stud partitions, folding partitions, movable walls, other walls, windows, doors and similar products.

  • British Standard testing available for airborne Sound Reduction Index in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3.

  • On-site sound testing in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-4 is available by our technicians.

  • Sound Test results available expressed as Dntw, Rw, R'w, weighted sound reduction.

  • State of the art instrumentation used in our Acoustic Laboratory includes Symphonie testing suite, 01dB-Stell microphones, M700 amplifier and Dodecahedral DO12 loudspeaker.

  • Full Airborne Sound Test reporting available.

  • Our friendly team have a wealth of knowledge of folding partition products and testing and are available for advice relating to acoustic testing, and problems relating to sound flanking transmission, reverberation, sound insulation and sound absorption.
